By integrating the study desk directly into the wardrobe unit and adding custom circular storage cutouts for sports equipment, we gain valuable floor space for play without cluttering the room. Every element in this nautical-themed room serves a dual purpose. We constructed the bunk bed unit using high-grade BWP plywood to ensure safety and longevity, finished with PU paint for a durable, smooth surface. The 'Adventure Awaits' theme comes alive through details like the porthole cutouts on the top bunk, cloud-painted ceilings, and mountain-motif wardrobe graphics, which help define the room's character without overwhelming the space. Functionality is handled through custom carpentry. The study nook is not an afterthought; it is physically attached to the wardrobe unit, utilizing a space-saving design that keeps wires and clutter out of sight. We also prioritized smart storage, specifically creating vertical shelving with circular openings to house sports balls and gear, which prevents typical bedroom clutter. Integrated LED profile lighting under the overhead shelves ensures the study area is well-lit for homework, while the soft, blue-toned palette creates a calm, serene environment suitable for both sleep and imagination. This project demonstrates how thematic design can be both playful and highly organized. ## About Ritika Design Studio I’m Ritika.
