To me, they are proof that a home can be both deeply personal and globally recognized. Whether we were navigating the constraints of a Dhaka residence or restoring a Mumbai classic, these stories highlight one truth: design is a quiet dialogue between the building’s history and the people who inhabit it. When Architectural Digest India recognized us as part of their AD100 list, it wasn't about the title. It was about the validation that preserving heritage, even in the middle of a bustling city, creates spaces that truly matter. Take our work on the Farooq Residence in Dhaka, featured in Design Essentia. That project was a masterclass in global sensibilities meeting local roots. We sourced artifacts from London, Bangkok, and India, weaving them into a home that felt lived-in from day one. It wasn't about following a trend; it was about honoring the clients' journey. Whether it is an early project like Kangana Ranaut’s home or my own studio in a revitalized 80-year-old building, my design process remains the same. I start by listening. I look for the original wooden beams, the texture of the brick, and the light that filters in at noon.
