## About Architectural Design & Renovation

### My Approach: Spaces with Soul

Design, for me, is way more than pretty walls or fancy furniture. It’s about giving every space a heart. I want your home to feel like yours, full of memories, quirks, and little details that matter to you.

### Full-Scale Transformations

Got a place that doesn’t quite feel right? I take on everything from flipping the layout to bold structural changes (think moving a fireplace or opening up rooms). Whether it’s a 2,000 sq. ft. apartment or a 10,000 sq. ft. house, I love a challenge. Personalized space transformation is my jam.

### Heritage Home Restoration

There’s something special about old homes. I’ve restored spaces with original **mitti** walls and wooden beams, keeping the past alive while making sure it works for today. I blend modern meets vintage interiors, mixing old architecture with new touches like Art Deco tiles or sleek furniture.

### Details That Shape the Flow

Arched doorways, big glass windows, exposed brick, wood beams—these are the things that give a home character. I’m obsessed with how light moves through a space and how every material tells a story.

### Collaboration & Global Sourcing

You’re not just a client, you’re a co-creator. I’ve worked across Mumbai, Calcutta, Ambala, San Francisco, and Dhaka, sourcing everything from Fort Kochi tiles to London furniture. Global sourcing for home décor keeps every project unique.

### Designing by Instinct

No fancy degree here—just a gut feeling for what works, and a love for building sanctuaries where you can truly relax.

## Meet your expert

[Richa Bahl](https://mytribe.in/richabahldesignstudio)

### My story

I didn’t study design, just followed my gut and love for spaces. Started with my own home, then friends, then projects just kept coming. Found this 80-year-old Mumbai house, left to rot. Instead of tearing it down, we listened to its mitti walls and old beams, brought it back with care. Now, our studio lives in that very space—reminding us every day to honour old souls and create with heart.

### My work

- **Heritage Restoration, Architecture & Interiors**: We restore heritage homes, do soulful interior design, and build spaces from scratch.
- **Design With Soul**: Spaces should hold stories and memories, not just look pretty. I want homes to feel like an embrace.
- **Your Story, Your Space**: No formulas here. Every project reflects the people living in it, mixing heritage and personality.
- **Old Meets New**: Love reviving forgotten buildings, blending vintage finds with modern touches and traditional Indian craftsmanship.
- **Collaborative Journey**: It’s hands-on. We work together, with craftspeople, making each step a quiet, intuitive conversation.
