We actively bring our dance philosophy to new environments, such as our recent Indian Classical and Contemporary dance workshops at IIT Jammu. Recognition like the Social Woman Entrepreneur Award from the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry serves as a reminder that dance, when taught with the depth of our tradition, has a powerful role to play in community and education. ### Bridging Tradition and Education We believe dance is a language that thrives when shared. Our workshops, whether for students at IIT Jammu or as part of our annual showcase 'Chalana,' are designed to break down barriers. We don't just teach steps; we guide students through the *Margam* (traditional path) of Bharatanatyam and the intricate footwork of Kathak, often demonstrating the synergy between these forms through our *Jugalbandi* performances. ### Recognition and Responsibility Being honored with the Social Woman Entrepreneur Award by the FKCCI is a significant milestone for Rhythmotion. It validates our commitment to not just dance training, but to using movement for social outreach, injury prevention, and mental wellness. This award reflects the work we put into our body conditioning modules and our effort to make classical arts accessible to everyone, regardless of age or experience. ### Press and Performance Reviews Our work has been consistently noted for its blend of technical rigor and expressive storytelling. Reviews in platforms like Narthaki highlight our ability to balance the fierce *tandava* with the tender *lasya*, a duality we emphasize in all our classical batches. Whether you are looking for professional certification, exam preparation, or a space to explore movement for the first time, our history of performance and teaching serves as a foundation for your learning journey with us. ## About Rhythmotion I am Chitra, and Rhythmotion is where lineage meets current rhythm. Together with my daughter Alar and our wider family, I ensure every workshop and performance carries the depth of our classical roots while remaining accessible to all.
