Before anything touches a mold, I spend 5-7 days dehydrating your fresh flowers using silica gel. This is the only way to lock in the natural colors and prevent them from browning. If you rush this step, the art fails. I treat your wedding flowers with the same care I would my own, ensuring every petal stays preserved in its original form. ### My Preservation Process When you send me your wedding varmala, kaleeras, or even a wedding invitation, I treat it as a project of memory preservation. Most people think resin art is just liquid plastic, but the secret is in the prep. * **Dehydration:** Fresh flowers have high moisture content. If cast directly, they rot inside the resin. I carefully dehydrate them for up to a week so they retain their shape and color. * **UV-Stability:** I use premium, UV-stable casting resin. This ensures that your keepsake won't yellow or degrade when exposed to sunlight over the years. * **The Casting:** Once dried, I arrange the items in your chosen 10x10 or 12x12 inch mold. I pour the resin in layers, ensuring no bubbles are trapped near your photos or flowers. ### Why Choose Resin Keepsakes? Unlike traditional framing, where flowers flatten and lose their vibrancy, resin encapsulation creates a 3D, tactile piece of art. It is a solid, glass-like block that protects your memories from dust, moisture, and time. Whether it is a wedding block, a preserved photo frame, or a custom keychain for your partner, the goal is to make something functional that you can hold, not just something that hangs on a wall gathering dust. ### What I Can Preserve I handle custom requests regularly. Beyond standard wedding garlands, I can preserve: * Wedding cards and photos. * Small jewelry or kaleeras. * Sentimental handwritten notes or fabric pieces. Since this process takes 3-5 weeks to cure and polish perfectly, I recommend reaching out soon after your event. It takes time, but the final shine is worth every second. ## About Mehul Arts People ask who taught me this, but honestly, I just burned in my own fire until I became gold. My work is not just resin; it is about holding onto the parts of your life you do not want to fade. When I preserve your wedding varmala, I treat those flowers like my own memories.
