## About Bridal Portraits & Love Stories

I don't just draw portraits; I map out your personal story on your skin. Because every face and scene is unique, I sketch a rough layout during our pre-application consultation to ensure the proportions are perfect before I commit to the permanent henna lines. This gives you the chance to see how the elements—like your proposal scene or a specific venue sketch—will sit on your hands, so you are confident in the final design before I even start.

When we decide to put your love story on your skin, it becomes the most personal accessory you will wear on your wedding day. I have spent the last 11 years refining this craft, moving beyond traditional floral patterns to create detailed narratives. Whether it is the exact silhouette of your proposal or the architecture of your wedding venue, I love working with you to find those meaningful details that truly represent your journey.

### The Process
Every Signature Storytelling package begins with a virtual consultation. We build a storyboard together. You might want the skyline of Mumbai to represent your roots, or a specific date that changed your life. We decide where each element goes, ensuring that the portraits and motifs don't just look good, but flow naturally with the shape of your hands.

### Why Detailed Portraits Matter
Unlike traditional motifs, portraits require high density and careful shading to ensure the likeness stands out against the henna stain. I use a triple-sifted, organic, essential oil-infused henna mix that ensures a rich, dark stain. This is vital because it ensures those fine details—the folds in your lehenga or the twinkle in a portrait’s eye—remain clear after the stain develops.

### Planning Your Session
These designs are intricate and dense. We are looking at a 7 to 9-hour application process. Please plan your mehendi day accordingly; I usually suggest keeping the environment quiet so we can focus on the fine linework. It is not just henna; it is a piece of art that stays with you long after the ceremony ends.
