You will learn to look at a metal pot not just as a simple shape, but as a complex map of light, shadow, and reflection, which is the specific, observant detail examiners look for in your work. Success in Elementary and Intermediate drawing exams requires more than just natural talent; it demands a disciplined understanding of perspective, light, and composition. At our studio, we break down these complex requirements into manageable, practical steps that help students build confidence. We start with tonal studies, teaching you to see the world in gradients rather than basic outlines. You will master the control of poster colors and watercolors, ensuring your flat washes are smooth and your paint consistency is perfect for those tight exam deadlines. Our curriculum focuses on: - **Object Study:** We use actual steel utensils and organic items to teach you how to capture surface textures, like the sharp metallic shine on a jug versus the soft, matte skin of a vegetable. - **Compositional Balance:** Learn how to arrange elements within your frame so the final piece feels balanced and deliberate, not cluttered. - **Speed and Technique:** We simulate real exam conditions to help you build speed. You will learn to work under pressure, ensuring you don't feel overwhelmed when the clock is ticking. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills for higher-grade exams, our process is designed to make the rigorous requirements of the drawing syllabus feel intuitive and rewarding. Our small batch sizes ensure that every student gets direct feedback on their strokes, helping them move past common beginner mistakes like 'stick figure' drawing. ## About Renuka's Art Zone I am Renuka, and alongside my mother Swati, we have built this studio to be a place where technique meets real creativity.
