### Why We Honor Pamela Colman Smith

If you see my posts about Pamela Colman Smith, know that this is non-negotiable for me. Modern Tarot exists because of her ability and nerve, yet she died in obscurity. As a Tarot scholar, I believe in giving credit where it is due. We do not use the term 'Rider-Waite' here because it erases her contribution. We use 'Smith-Waite' to acknowledge the artist who actually drew the symbols that guide our intuition.
