We do not believe in generic templates, which means if you are looking to transform a space, we start by understanding your specific sun-path, soil, and history, ensuring the result feels like it has always belonged there. Our work is rooted in the idea that every site has a story. Whether it is a luxury terrace garden, a public park, or a commercial office space, we begin by 'reading' the grounds. This means analyzing the topography, the micro-climate, and the history of the soil before we place a single stone or plant. ### Our Design Methodology We focus on a process that blends the technical with the poetic: * **Ecology First:** We prioritize native plant palettes that support local biodiversity, reducing water consumption while creating resilient, low-maintenance landscapes. * **Sensory Engagement:** A garden is meant to be experienced. We design for texture, fragrance, and sound—think the crunch of a gravel path, the sway of ornamental grasses, or the scent of damp earth after rain. * **Community-Led Design:** For public and residential layouts, we engage with users to ensure the space isn't just visually appealing but functional, safe, and welcoming for daily use. ### Technical Expertise Our services go beyond planting. We provide comprehensive master planning, site grading, and civil works. From installing automated irrigation systems to ensuring robust waterproofing for podium greens, we manage the engineering details required to keep your landscape thriving through all seasons. We believe that true luxury in a landscape is longevity and harmony with the surrounding environment. ## About Reading Grounds We are Reading Grounds, a collective that believes landscapes are stories waiting to be told.
