## About Youth Tennis Sponsorship Program

### Why I Started This

I’ve seen so much raw tennis talent in India, but most kids never get a real chance. That’s why I started the Bhoomi Program at my academy. It’s not just about tennis - it’s about finding kids who have the spark but not the resources, and giving them a shot at something bigger.

### What the Bhoomi Program Offers

- This is a fully-sponsored, residential program for underprivileged youth. No fees, no hidden costs.
- Kids get world-class tennis training at my academy in Bengaluru. I’m hands-on with their journey, not just in tennis but in life.
- They study at The Sports School, so education is never left behind.
- We provide everything: boarding, food, and a safe place to grow.
- We focus on more than just sport - fitness, nutrition, mentorship, and building confidence. Some kids come in not knowing English or tennis, but soon, hum baat karenge (we’ll chat) about their dreams.

### How We Find Talent

We don’t wait for kids to come to us. My team and I travel to remote places - Assam, Kashmir, and beyond - to scout for grassroots tennis talent. We test hundreds, shortlist a few, and I personally select the final group for the full tennis scholarship for kids.

### Who Makes This Possible

This is a team effort. Partners like Kamal India Foundation UK and The Sports School help us make this dream real for every child we select.

### My story

Hey, I’m Rohan Bopanna. Been around the tennis world for ages, but my real buzz is watching kids grow, not just win. Bhoomi program is my heart – we brought kids from Assam who’d never seen a tennis court, gave them everything: food, school, coaching. Watching them laugh, play, and learn here in Bangalore, you see real talent. For me, it’s about giving every kid a shot, building good people, not just tennis champs.

### My work

- **Tennis Programs for All Levels**: We run grassroots tennis coaching for beginners, intermediate yellow ball, and high-performance tennis training for juniors and future pros.
- **Tennis Summer Camps Bangalore**: Our camps for kids aged 4-12 are fun, packed with learning, and super popular every year.
- **Total Athlete Development**: We focus on fitness, movement, strength, plus athlete nutrition and recovery with ice baths and hydrotherapy.
- **Top Facilities, Rain or Shine**: Train at Padukone Dravid Centre with 5 floodlit courts and all-weather setups, so play never stops.
- **Tennis Strategy Coaching**: Our coaches help you think smart on court, teaching tactics to outplay your opponent in real matches.
