Let me help you keep their smile alive forever. ## Photos and videos - [Video: A client told me, "I never gave my father a gift while he was here." To honor his memory, I created this portrait from a photo he provided. It's a reminder that while our loved ones may not be with us, their memory and our love for them is eternal.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/789c55be-dad7-460e-a95d-4e78d3e710b1) - [Video: A son came to me with a small, faded wallet photo of his mother, the only one he had. It is a privilege to take such a precious memory and restore it into a detailed charcoal portrait that the family can cherish for generations.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/f950391e-7c23-4eaf-a042-981088ba883d) - [Video: This portrait was created from a very blurry photograph of a client's father, who passed away 17 years ago. My goal is to bring clarity and life back to these faded images, creating a realistic portrait that feels present and real.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/6c8d9db4-2ad5-4cdc-9961-934bc0919ff6) ## About Memorial Portraits: Bringing Memories to Life Many of you come to me with a single, torn, or blurry wallet photo of a parent or grandparent who has passed away. I do not just sketch what I see. I spend time studying the facial structure to recreate their expression as it was in real life. Whether the original photo is damaged or low-resolution, I work with high-contrast charcoal to bring back clarity and detail that feels like a true reflection. ### The Process: From Faded to Forever When you reach out for a memorial portrait, I understand that this is often the only photo you have. My restoration process focuses on high-contrast charcoal handling. I manually reconstruct missing details, such as the eyes or jawline, by referencing the essence of the original image. ### Why Choose Charcoal for Memorials? I specialize in charcoal for these pieces because it offers a timeless, soulful finish that captures emotion better than digital prints. My A3 Premium Memorial & Restoration service includes: * **Face Reconstruction:** I can infer and draw features from scratched or low-resolution vintage photos. * **Composite Work:** If you want to merge separate individuals into one frame, such as a late parent with a grandchild, I can create a composition that brings them together. * **Attire Adjustments:** I can modify clothing or add traditional wear like a Mysore Peta or Saree if it helps recreate a cherished look. ### What I Need From You To get started, please share the highest resolution scan or photo you have of your loved one. If it is a physical photo, try to take a clear, well-lit picture of it without flash glare. This reference helps me identify the true shape of their features. I will share a work-in-progress image with you, allowing for two rounds of adjustments before I finalize the sketch and seal it with a fixative spray. ## About Ravish Harikantra Namaste, I am Ravish Harikantra.
