## About Custom Bridal Portraits: Your Story in Henna

These portraits are not just outlines; I spend time mapping out facial features and expressions before applying the henna. Since this requires high-density work, please plan for a 5-to-6-hour sitting for standard portraits, or up to 9 hours if we are building a full, multi-scene love story across your arms.

Mapping your story requires a steady hand and a clear vision. I treat every portrait design as a narrative flow. We start by discussing the key milestones you want to include—perhaps the location of your proposal, a depiction of your varmala ceremony, or a tribute to your parents like 'Aai' and 'Baba'. I sketch these elements to ensure the proportions on your palms and forearms are just right before the henna application begins.

I exclusively use 100% natural, organic henna paste. This is crucial for portrait work because a deep, dark stain is the only way to make fine-line facial features stand out clearly against the skin. Whether you choose my Portrait & Figure package, which focuses on the couple and auspicious symbols, or the Custom Love Story package, which can cover your arms up to the bicep with full-scene narratives, the finish is always high-density and intricate.

Since I work across Mumbai, I can come to your venue for the application. These designs are time-intensive, so I do not rush the process. If you want a portrait design, we should chat a few weeks before your wedding so we can finalize the story panels you want to see on your hands.
