This level of precision requires immense patience, which is why I typically dedicate at least 90 minutes to these specific designs to capture every nuance accurately on the skin. Figurative art in mehendi is less about filling space and more about capturing a moment. Whether you want to incorporate your love story, a portrait of family members, or symbolic animals, the process begins with a conversation. I do not just trace outlines; I sketch the character first, ensuring the proportions look right before applying the henna. Using 100% natural, chemical-free henna is non-negotiable for this style. Because these designs are intricate, the henna needs to be consistent in flow to maintain those sharp lines over the portrait areas. For bridal portraits or family scenes, I often suggest adding these elements to the center of the palm where there is enough surface area to showcase detail without the design feeling crowded. I often get requests for unique concepts—lions, swans, or even architectural elements. These are not just patterns; they are conversation starters at your event. If you have a specific reference photo or a rough sketch of what you want, share it with me. We can sit together and figure out how to best place it on your hands so it feels balanced with the rest of your bridal or festive design. ## About Ram Kumar Mehandi I’m Ram Kumar.
