Whether you are exploring Bharatanatyam, Carnatic music, or our summer camps for children, the goal remains the same: using classical arts to ground yourself in the enquiry of 'Who am I?'. Our centre operates on the belief that art is never separated from the spiritual. Through the Ramananjali syllabus, students are taught to look beyond mere technique to the emotional and devotional core of the art form. ### Our Approach to Learning * **Bharatanatyam (Natya):** We focus on the *Ramananjali Nritya* repertoire. For us, movement is a form of meditation. From foundational steps to advanced *Antarangapravesha* (debut solo concerts), we guide students through a disciplined journey. Our classes at the Sanjayanagara campus and online platforms emphasize theory, *hasta viniyogas* (hand gestures), and the spiritual meaning behind every piece. * **Carnatic Music (Nada):** Our music training centers on *Ramananjali Sangeetha*, where students learn traditional compositions with a focus on their deeper, often philosophical, meaning. Whether joining our weekly sessions or intensive *Nadopasana* workshops, the objective is to align the voice with the inner self. * **Children's Programs:** Through the Ramana Bala Kendra and our Summer Camps, we introduce children to the richness of Indian culture. It is not just about learning a dance or a song; it is about providing a space for values, storytelling, and emotional expression. ### The Performance Philosophy We provide stages for our students—be it at our Heritage Auditorium or the Shrine—because we believe performance is a vital part of the learning process. It builds confidence and teaches students to offer their art as a humble tribute, rather than a display of ego. From festivals like Navaratri and Sivaratri to our debut *Rangollaasa* concerts, these events are central to our community life in Bengaluru. ## About Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning We are a community dedicated to the teachings of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, where art is never separated from prayer.
