Watch my techniques and illusions on display across various media platforms. ## Photos and videos - [Video: In this interview on YouTamil, I explain one of the core techniques of my craft: reading micro-expressions. I discuss how tiny, involuntary facial movements can reveal whether someone is lying or what they might be thinking.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/55286a4d-600a-4e15-a3c9-810b70d2319d) - [Video: The host of YouTamil asks me if I read minds by looking into people's eyes. I explain that while the eyes are the windows to the soul, the real trick is figuring out what they're thinking even when their eyes are closed.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/90c1e11c-cf0e-41c9-9a72-d47b374d5796) - [Video: A clip from my interview on Suman TV, where I demonstrate the power of suggestion. Whether it is reading a host's micro-expressions or demonstrating a card illusion, these clips show how I handle live, unscripted environments. It is the same focus, banter, and crowd management I bring to your stage, minus the TV studio lights. These appearances aren't just for show. They serve as a practical demonstration of how I think and operate in high-pressure, live environments. ### Why These Appearances Matter for Your Event When you hire a mentalist, you aren't just paying for a trick. You are paying for someone who can hold an audience's attention, read the room, and adapt when things go off-script. * **Live Handling:** In these clips, you see how I manage hosts, respond to interruptions, and keep the energy high even when the cameras are rolling. This is the same adaptability I bring to a chaotic wedding reception or a formal corporate boardroom. * **Real Technique:** I don't use hidden plants or secret cameras. When I demonstrate micro-expression reading on YouTamil or the power of suggestion on Suman TV, you are seeing the actual psychology I use to entertain your guests. * **Engagement:** Notice the interaction. I don't just lecture; I involve the people in front of me. Whether it is guessing a personal detail or a sensory illusion, the goal is always to make the participant the star, not me. ### Where I Perform I am based in Doddanekkundi, Bengaluru, but I travel across India for events. Whether you are hosting a gala in Mumbai, a wedding in Chennai, or a corporate summit in Delhi, I bring this same level of preparation and showmanship. If you are looking for a mentalist in Bengaluru or anywhere else who can handle the spotlight with a mix of wit and wonder, I am ready to perform. ## About Rakesh Syam I’m Rakesh Syam, or Rocky to my friends. I’ve performed on everything from cruise ships to live TV, and the thrill is always the same. I don't just do tricks; I connect with the room, whether it’s a packed wedding hall or a focused corporate team.
