When you commission a piece, we start with a consultation to choose the perfect reference photo, ensuring the final canvas reflects both the sacred subject and your personal connection to it. ### My Approach to Spiritual Art My work is a vinamra chitra abhivadan (humble artistic tribute) to our culture. I specialize in acrylics on canvas, blending realistic detailing with deep, emotional color palettes to create pieces that feel alive. I treat every canvas as an offering, ensuring the final work resonates with the sanctity of the subject. ### The Commission Process I ensure every commission is treated with the care it deserves. * **Consultation:** We begin with a one-hour discussion to select a reference that resonates with you. * **Approval:** You review the digital composition and the initial layout sketch before I begin the final painting. * **Finishing:** Every piece is finished with a UV-resistant varnish to ensure longevity, and stretched on a treated pine frame, making it ready to hang the moment it arrives. ### Why Commission Original Art Unlike prints, original canvas paintings possess a unique depth. I use impasto techniques to add texture, giving figures like Prabhu Ram or Shiva a presence that changes as the light in your room shifts throughout the day. Whether you are looking for a commemorative portrait, a scene from the Ramayana, or a tribute to historical figures, I dedicate myself to capturing the soul of the subject. All commissions include a Certificate of Authenticity and a provenance document, ensuring your piece is well-documented. ## About Rajesh Sawant Namaskar, I am Rajesh Sawant.
