These moments represent more than just art, they are my humble tribute to the leaders who shaped our society and history. Being recognized for my work is a responsibility I take very seriously. Each accolade, from the unveiling of a portrait at the Mantralay to features in the 'Godagaurav' coffee table book by the Loksatta newspaper group, is a testament to the trust placed in my craft. My approach to public commissions involves deep research into the historical figure's life and legacy. When I was asked to paint for the state government, my priority was not just likeness, but capturing the spirit of social reform that Mahatma Phule stood for. Media coverage from groups like Lokmat and Sakal has helped bring these stories to a wider audience, and I am sincerely thankful for their support. These exhibitions in Nashik and Mumbai allow me to connect with others who value our cultural heritage. If you are looking for an artist to collaborate on a significant project, a public tribute, or a commemorative installation, I approach such commissions with the same respect and attention to detail that I applied to my state-level projects. ## About Rajesh Sawant I am Rajesh Sawant, an artist from Nashik dedicated to preserving our historical culture through canvas.
