Whether I am painting a single subject portrait or a complex historical scene, the process begins with a detailed consultation to ensure the composition aligns perfectly with your vision before I ever touch the brush. My artistic journey is deeply rooted in 'bharatiya aitihasik sanskriti' (Indian historical culture). Whether you are looking for a lifelike memorial portrait or a vibrant cityscape of a holy ghat, I bring the same level of dedication to every commission. ### My Approach to Commissions 1. **Personal Consultation:** Every project starts with a conversation. We discuss your reference photos, the desired emotion, and the narrative you want to convey. 2. **Sketch Approval:** For complex pieces, I provide a layout sketch. This ensures that the composition, proportions, and spirit of the subject are captured exactly as you envision them. 3. **Quality Materials:** I prioritize longevity. I use Heavy Body Acrylics or professional oils on premium canvas, finished with a UV-resistant varnish to protect your investment for years to come. ### Art for Every Space * **Portraits:** I aim to go beyond mere resemblance to capture the 'soul' of the individual, making these ideal for memorials or family heirlooms. * **Historical & Spiritual:** I paint scenes that resonate with tradition, from the valor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the serenity of Buddha, using research and historical accuracy. * **Landscapes:** From the busy streets of Shahada to the serene temples on the ghats, I capture the light and energy of a location on canvas. My work is available for shipping across India. Every original artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring your piece is a verified part of my collection. ## About Rajesh Sawant Art is my humble tribute to the culture and people I cherish.
