Whether we are practicing academic realism or preparing for a national competition, I focus on building a strong foundation in anatomy, perspective, and composition. This is a disciplined studio environment where we work one-on-one to refine your unique artistic voice. Receiving the Krantijyoti Savitrimai Phule State Teacher Award from the Maharashtra State Education Department was a significant moment in my career. While I have been fortunate to win international awards for my own work, my true satisfaction comes from the achievements of my students. I believe in the sacred Guru-Shishya bond, where guidance is personal and feedback is direct. My studio in Nashik is a space for serious practice. We do not just paint; we analyze the masters, understand the science of light, and study the anatomy of our subjects. My training covers essential mediums like oil, acrylic, and watercolor, with a heavy emphasis on academic realism. I guide students ranging from school children to college aspirants, helping them build professional portfolios and competitive strategies that stand out to juries. I offer a structured environment. My monthly sessions are designed for consistent growth, requiring discipline and focus. I provide the mentorship that I once received from my own gurus, including my father and Padma Shri Vasudevji Kamath. If you are looking for a teacher who will push your boundaries and hold you to a higher standard of craft, I invite you to connect with me. ## About Rajesh Sawant I believe that the role of a teacher is to guide, not just instruct. My journey as an artist and educator is dedicated to my gurus, my family, and every student who walks into my studio to learn the craft.
