My workshops are not lectures; they are immersive, disciplined sessions where we break down academic realism, anatomical correctness, and perspective. Whether you are a student preparing for a competition or an educator looking to sharpen your teaching approach, we focus on the foundational methods that make art timeless. I believe that true art education requires a direct line of sight between the mentor and the student. When I conduct a live painting demonstration, I do not just show the result; I explain every stroke, the mixing of pigments, and the decision-making process that goes into a piece, whether it is an oil portrait or a landscape. ### Hands-On Workshops My workshops are designed for those who want to move beyond basic theory. We cover: * **Academic Realism:** Mastering light, shadow, and form. * **Medium Mastery:** Practical techniques for oil, acrylic, and watercolor. * **Competition Strategy:** Insider guidance on what juries look for, based on my experience judging state and international art competitions. ### Who This Is For I work with a diverse range of learners, from school students finding their creative voice to fellow art teachers refining their professional practice. I have conducted sessions for the Maharashtra State Art Teachers Association and organized community painting events to promote social awareness, such as the Nashik Municipal Corporation’s voting awareness campaign. ### The Workshop Environment I maintain a focused and quiet studio atmosphere in Nashik for my regular sessions, but I am equally comfortable bringing this environment to your school, college, or event venue. If you are looking for a session that combines historical technique with modern application, I am here to guide you. Let us work together to build your skills, one brushstroke at a time. ## About Rajesh Sawant Namaskar, I am Rajesh Sawant. My art is a humble tribute to our historical culture, but my true purpose lies in the studio, guiding students and fellow artists. I don't just teach theory; I demonstrate the discipline, patience, and technical precision required to master academic realism.
