Whether it is combining separate photos of loved ones into one frame or rendering a grand anniversary portrait, I work directly with you to ensure the subjects and the setting feel authentic. It takes time—often requiring 15 to 25 days for oil drying—but the final piece is crafted to remain in your family for generations. When you commission a family heirloom, you are investing in a physical memory. My approach differs from standard portraiture because I treat the canvas as a vessel for your family’s story. For clients looking to merge separate photographs—perhaps a loved one who has passed or family members living in different cities—my legacy reconstruction service blends these images into a cohesive, large-scale oil painting. My studio in Paschim Vihar handles everything from concept to the final, Italian-style frame. For smaller milestones, I offer realistic charcoal and graphite sketches on acid-free paper, perfect for intimate gifting. If you prefer the depth of color, my signature mixed-media portraits combine watercolor bases with Polychromos detailing to ensure a vibrant finish. I believe that an heirloom shouldn't just look like the subject; it must capture the energy and history of the moment. **Frequently Asked Questions** * **Can you paint from old, faded photos?** Yes, that is a core part of my memorial work. I reconstruct details to bring clarity to aged or damaged images. * **How long does it take?** My oil on linen canvas works require at least 15 to 25 days to allow for proper glazing and drying between layers. * **Do I get to review the work?** For color portraits, I provide a digital preview before the final sealing and varnish. * **Is professional framing included?** Yes, every commission comes with professional-grade framing, ranging from classic Italian wood for oil works to sleek, modern borders for sketches. ## About Raajan Maluuja I do not see painting as a business; it is my sadhana.
