My team uses djembes and electronic pads to ensure our beats complement the live singer rather than fighting for volume, keeping the vibe classy and melodic. When the sangeet demands a deeper connection, we shift from the typical high-energy baraat style to a controlled, melodic fusion. This is where we deploy our 6 to 8 pax percussion ensemble, blending the raw dhol sound with softer instruments like djembes and electronic pads. We are not just hitting drums here. We listen to the rhythm of the Sufi track and add layers that support the melody without overpowering the vocals. For this to work, we have one non-negotiable rule: a proper sound check. We need to sync with your DJ or sound engineer before the event to balance the dhol levels. If the drums are too loud, the Sufi feel is lost. We treat these sets as a performance, not just background noise, so your guests can actually feel the lyrics. Whether you want a full Sufiyaana mahol or a mix of Bollywood melodies and percussion, my team knows when to pull back and when to let the beat ride. ## About Raja Dholis I am Raja, and when the crowd needs a break from the club beats, I bring out the soulful side of my dhol. My team and I blend traditional percussion with soft melodies to create that perfect, laid-back vibe for your sangeet.
