## About Traditional & Ethnic Wear

I handle all the post-processing personally, focusing on true-to-life color calibration to ensure your traditional garments look as vibrant in photos as they do in person. Whether we are shooting in a studio with controlled lighting or outdoors to catch the natural golden hour, I coordinate closely with your makeup artist and stylist to ensure the fabric and jewelry remain the clear focal point of every frame.

### My Approach to Ethnic Fashion Photography

When shooting traditional wear, the challenge isn't just taking a photo; it is capturing the craftsmanship. My work in this space is heavily collaborative. I often partner with stylists and makeup artists to ensure the final look is cohesive, whether you are wearing a classic Kanjivaram or a contemporary lehenga.

### Where We Shoot

- **Studio Settings:** Perfect for detailed shots where we need full control over lighting to highlight embroidery and jewelry. We keep the background clean so the focus stays entirely on your outfit.
- **Outdoor Locations:** Ideal for creating a more cinematic, fluid look. I often scout locations that offer earthy, natural backgrounds, which contrast beautifully with the bright colors of Indian ethnic wear.

### How to Prepare for Your Shoot

To get the best results, think about the story you want to tell. Are you showcasing a specific designer's collection, or is this for your personal portfolio? 

1. **Outfit Readiness:** Ensure your outfits are steamed or pressed before the shoot. Draping is everything, so have a professional saree draper on set if you are not comfortable doing it yourself.
2. **Accessorizing:** Traditional wear photography relies on jewelry. Bring a few options for earrings, bangles, and waist belts so we can mix and match to see what complements the lighting best.
3. **Collaboration:** If you are hiring an MUA, I recommend arriving camera-ready, or we can build the makeup time into our schedule. A professional MUA understands how to balance makeup for both studio lights and natural daylight.

**Do you provide costume rentals?**
No, I focus on the photography and creative direction. You will need to source your own designer costumes and jewelry.

**How many outfit changes are allowed?**
It depends on the package. My studio sessions usually allow for two changes, while my full-day editorial campaigns are flexible based on the concept we define during our pre-shoot planning.
