We keep backgrounds clean—usually grey, white, or beige—so the focus remains entirely on your expressions rather than props. It is a collaborative process, so come prepared to discuss the specific 'vibe' you want to project before we start shooting. Photography is often about managing variables, and that is where my engineering background helps. Whether you are an actor needing headshots for auditions or a model building a portfolio, I approach every shoot with a technical plan to ensure we get the right results. ### My Approach to Studio Work My studio process is built on collaboration. I do not just point and shoot; I work with you to understand what you need. If you are an actor, we focus on versatility—getting those clean, professional shots that casting directors look for. For fashion and commercial work, we experiment with angles and lighting intensity to create images that stand out on a portfolio grid. ### What to Expect * **Lighting Control:** We use a controlled studio setup, meaning we are not dependent on weather or natural light changes. This allows for consistent skin tones and textures. * **Editing:** I handle all retouching personally. I focus on skin smoothing and color calibration that looks natural, not over-processed. * **Preparation:** Since makeup and hair are not included in the basic package, arriving 'camera-ready' is essential. We spend the 2 hours of dedicated time focusing on posing and expression variations. ### Packages * **Essential Studio Portfolio:** Ideal for quick headshots (8 retouched images, 2-hour session). * **Comprehensive Portfolio:** Includes a longer 6-hour hybrid session with professional makeup and video snippets for Reels. This is better if you need a wider variety of looks for your portfolio.
