When you book a recital, you are booking a full 4-piece live Carnatic orchestra—nattuvangam, vocal, mridangam, and flute. The music is the heartbeat of my dance, and that live collaboration is essential to how I share my mother’s compositions. For over 35 years, I have carried my mother’s legacy to stages like the Kamani Auditorium and the India International Centre. Whether it is a solo Bharatanatyam recital focused on Abhinaya, or a high-energy group choreography with my senior disciples from Kalangan, the emphasis is always on an authentic experience. My performances are not merely stage acts; they are dedicated conversations with the audience. I believe in the magic of live Carnatic music—my team of senior accompanists joins me for every event, ensuring the rhythm and melody are perfectly synchronized with every mudra and movement. From SPIC MACAY conventions where I engage with the youth, to intimate private gatherings and prestigious memorial concerts, I tailor each set list to fit the occasion. If you are looking for a performance that blends technical precision with deep emotional resonance, let’s talk about your event needs. ## About Ragini Chandershekar I am Ragini Chandershekar.
