It is about the 'innondu round' (one more round) mindset. When you train with me, we do not just glide. We use specialized parachute resistance drills and slide boards to build the explosive power necessary to compete for gold, exactly the way I prep for my own races. ### My Journey I have spent my life on the track, representing India and fighting for medals. Being a nine-time national champion means I know exactly what it takes to reach the podium. I have faced the politics, the pressure, and the struggles of being an athlete in India, and I teach my students to fight through those same obstacles. ### The Training Philosophy My coaching at Skaters World in Rajarajeshwari Nagar is not a casual hobby class. Whether you are a beginner or aiming for the national stage, we follow a rigorous path: * **Stance Correction:** We move away from recreational upright posture to the aerodynamic speed tuck. * **Stride Mechanics:** Focusing on the double-push technique and precise weight transfer. * **Race Tactics:** I teach how to draft, execute breakaways, and time your finishing kick. We train like machines because that is what it takes to win. If you are serious about your skating, we will work together to get you race-ready. Namma Bengaluru has talent, and my job is to make sure that talent finds its way to the top of the podium. ## About Raghavendra Somayaji My name is Raghavendra and skating is my life.
