We built these floor setups for big groups to stretch out and really crush a 4-foot thaal without that cramped restaurant feeling. If you are rolling in with more than 6 people, I would say hit us up on WhatsApp first to block the floor seating, especially on weekends when things get busy. Eating at Raafae’s Dastarkhwan is all about the vibe. We wanted to move away from the rush-and-leave culture. Whether you drop by our Mira Road, Mahim, or Lonavala spot, the goal remains the same: a place where you can sit cross-legged, share a massive Shahi Nizami Thaal with your squad, and not worry about the clock. ### Why choose our Dastarkhwan seating? It is simple. Shared food tastes better when you are sitting together on the floor. We use custom-made low tables and comfortable, cushioned seating so you can stay for hours. It is the classic way to enjoy our Mughlai and Lucknowi feasts. * **Space for everyone:** We built these sections specifically for big families and friend groups. No more squeezing onto tiny chairs. * **The Experience:** It is relaxed and informal. You come in, pick a spot, and focus on the food. * **Booking:** While we have plenty of space, the Dastarkhwan sections are in high demand during dinner hours. If you are planning a reunion or a birthday treat, give us a heads-up so we can keep the spot open for you. And remember, if the food or the quality doesn't hit the mark, we offer a straightforward refund. We want you to leave happy, not just full. ## About Raafae's Dastarkhwan I started Raafae’s 10 years ago because I wanted a place where everyone could eat together without any tension. Whether it is our traditional floor seating or our standard tables, I just want you to feel at home while diving into a massive thaal.
