Whether it is the mist-filled drama of our Mad Hatter installation or the layered texture of our Bandra studio, we focus on sensory details—lighting, material, and narrative—that make a commercial space feel as personal and lived-in as your own home. Our featured work captures the Purple Backyard philosophy: spaces should be lived in, not just looked at. In our experiential installations like the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, we lean into drama. We layer fabrics, manipulate lighting, and collaborate with local karigars to build a world that draws people in. It is about creating a pause in the middle of the day. In our studio work, we apply this same logic. We move away from the sterile, corporate look and bring in the soul of a home. We use local materials, warm lighting, and custom-built objects that tell a story. If you are looking for design that feels like a conversation rather than a rigid set of rules, let us talk about how we can build your space. We approach every square foot as an opportunity to add personality, meaning, and a bit of magic. ## About Purple Backyard I’m Kumpal, and I believe a room should feel like a warm hug. My team at Purple Backyard builds stories, not just interiors, whether we are crafting a temporary pop-up or a long-term workspace. We are a little extra, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
