## About Colorful Pre-Wedding Rituals

When I say 'Action bolunga na', it is not for a movie scene, it is so you forget we are there. During Haldi or Mehndi, we focus on the messy, happy, unposed reality, like the way marigold petals fly or that sneaky grin during a ritual, ensuring your photos look like memories rather than stage-managed shots.

Pre-wedding rituals like Haldi, Mehndi, and Jaggo are where the real emotions surface before the main wedding day begins. My crew and I, based out of Nerul, specialize in documenting these moments because they are rarely about posing and mostly about pure energy. Whether it is a Punjabi Jaggo night or a Marathi lagna sohala, we adjust our approach to honor the cultural nuances.

We typically deploy a 3-person team for these events to ensure we are covering the scene from all angles without getting in your way. While we love the candid, messy play of flower petals, we also make time for those quiet, glowing portraits of the bride or groom that you will want to look at for years to come. We use Sony Alpha mirrorless gear and Godox lighting to keep colors vibrant, even when the venue lighting is low or changing quickly.
