Please note that for hygiene and safety, we strictly require a medical certificate for entry and recommend bringing your own padlock for the changing room lockers. At Prabodhankar Thackeray Krida Sankul, we believe that everyone deserves the joy of the water. Our aquatic center is one of the few in Mumbai that offers such a wide spectrum of training, from basic swimming lessons to advanced competitive programs. ### Our Aquatic Programs - **Learn to Swim:** We run dedicated batches for kids and adults who are new to the water. Our instructors focus on comfort, floating, and building confidence before moving to stroke work. - **Competitive Coaching:** For those with medal aspirations, we provide lane access and endurance-based training. Expect intensity, speed work, and rigorous stroke correction. - **Platform Diving:** We are unique in Mumbai for our diving tower, offering progression from the 1m springboard up to the 10m platform. Our coaches guide you through jump mechanics, tucking, and safe water entry. - **Freediving:** A meditative contrast to our active batches, this program teaches breath-hold and equalization techniques for those interested in underwater exploration. ### What to Know Before You Visit Our open-air pool is a high-traffic facility. During evening hours, lanes are shared with 5-8 swimmers, which is why we emphasize lane discipline. All sessions follow a strict 45-minute water time slot to ensure everyone gets their turn. As a public-facing sports complex, our infrastructure is functional and focused on training—expect standard tiled changing rooms and cold showers. Remember to bring your own swimwear, cap, and soap, as we do not provide these items on-site.
