I use a 3-4 point studio lighting setup with custom scrims to ensure the product texture remains the hero while keeping the packaging clean. To ensure we get the right look on set, I maintain a tethered laptop station where you can view every shot in real-time, making adjustments to the product or lighting instantly. ### Technical Precision in Product Photography Commercial photography is about solving visual problems. Whether you need content for social media ads or high-resolution images for billboard packaging, the approach remains the same: total control over light and composition. I shoot with full-frame or medium format systems paired with 100mm/105mm macro lenses to capture the specific viscosity of creams and the fine detail of product application. ### My Process for Beauty & Skincare Brands - **Pre-Production:** We discuss your brand’s visual identity and mood board. I advise on studio requirements to ensure the technical setup matches your campaign goals. - **Studio Production:** My 8-hour studio sessions are structured for efficiency. We can cover up to 15-20 distinct SKUs, or focus on complex creative flat lays and texture smears. - **Real-Time Viewing:** I utilize tethering so my clients can see exactly what the sensor sees. This eliminates guesswork and ensures we leave the studio with the exact hero shots required. ### Post-Production Standards Photography is only half the process. Once the shoot is wrapped, I handle the post-processing myself or manage the team of retouchers to ensure consistency.
