Hearing their journey of finding the right academy and seeing their child achieve a milestone is incredibly rewarding.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/6dba01fd-ef13-40aa-9fb8-a61fe5e03f61) ## About Words from Our Samarpana Family Choosing a guru isn't just about technique—it's about finding someone who values your growth as much as you do. When you listen to these parents, you'll hear that we don't just teach Bharatanatyam; we build a support system, guiding students through the discipline of virtual classes and the intense preparation required for milestones like the Salangai Pooja. At Samarpana, I’ve always believed that the relationship between a guru, the student, and their family is the heartbeat of our academy. It’s deeply humbling to hear these parents share their experiences, from navigating the challenges of virtual classes during the pandemic to the overwhelming pride of seeing their children perform on stage for the first time. What resonates most in these stories is the sense of partnership. Whether it’s a parent searching for months to find the right environment for their child, or a student balancing professional life with their passion for dance, my goal has always been to provide more than just instructions. We focus on the discipline required to master an art form, ensuring that every student progresses at their own pace. It’s not just about the final performance. It’s about the years of practice, the rigor of daily rehearsals, and the support we provide when things get tough. When a parent mentions how their child has grown—not just in dance, but in confidence—that is the true milestone. We work together, from the first Adavu to the grandeur of an Arangetram, ensuring every step is built on a foundation of genuine support and shared joy. ## About Preetha Arun I believe that the relationship between a guru, the student, and the family is the heartbeat of our academy.
