Whether it is participating in our student-led Navaratri series or marking a child's first steps during our Vidyarambham ceremony, we build our syllabus around shared cultural milestones. This gives our dancers the confidence to perform together in a safe, supportive group environment long before they face the stage alone. We believe that dance thrives in a community. While solo practice is vital for technical mastery, our events bring everyone together to celebrate the art form in its most vibrant, expressive state. This is where a student’s technical training meets the joy of sharing art with fellow dancers and their families. We host our classes at our Whitefield academy, but our reach is about helping students feel part of a long-standing tradition. Our events are structured to reduce performance anxiety, allowing even the youngest learners to find their rhythm in a supportive group setting. Whether you are looking for foundational training for your child or adult Bharatanatyam classes in Bengaluru, you’ll find that our academy prioritizes emotional growth and cultural awareness just as much as the adavus (basic steps). We create opportunities for students to perform in a safe space, learning the art of Abhinaya (expression) and the history of our traditions together. By weaving these community celebrations into our teaching, we ensure that students see dance as a lifelong companion rather than just a skill to be mastered. ## About Preetha Arun I’m Preetha, and at Samarpana, I don’t just train dancers—I nurture a family. We celebrate the rituals of our art because dance is a lifelong companion, not just a skill to check off. Come see how we learn, grow, and perform as a community.
