### Intensive Arangetram Boot Camp

Rigorous 6 to 12 month daily coaching covering the complete Margam repertoire, theory and yoga based conditioning.

* **Private Polishing Sessions:** One on one sessions with the Guru to fine tune the 7 to 9 traditional items including Pushpanjali, Varnam, and Thillana.

### Arangetram Conduction & Direction

One time professional fee for live Nattuvangam, custom choreography, orchestra coordination and end to end artistic supervision.

* **Live Nattuvangam:** The Guru conducts the entire performance live on stage, wielding cymbals to control the rhythmic flow.

* **Orchestra Rehearsals:** Conducting 2 to 3 full scale rehearsals with the live musical ensemble to sync music with movement.

## About Arangetram Training

### Why I Teach Arangetram

I didn’t plan to become a dance teacher - I was headed for a corporate job after my MBA. But guiding students through their Arangetram became my calling. I’ve helped more than 67 dancers reach this milestone, and every journey is unique.

### How I Work With You

One-on-one coaching is my style. I don’t rush students to the stage. We go at your pace, focusing on technical skills and building your confidence, whether you’re a school student balancing exams or a working mom squeezing in late-night practice.

### Crafting Your Solo Debut

Your Arangetram isn’t just about learning steps. We create a solo Margam preparation plan, and I choreograph pieces that fit your personality. We master every part — Nritta (pure dance), Nritya (expressive movement), and Natya (storytelling). The repertoire is designed just for you, so your strengths shine.

### The Complete Performer

There’s more to the stage than dance. We work on dance stamina for debut, and I run workshops on Abhinaya (expression) to help you tell stories that connect. I help you pick and tailor costumes that look elegant, not flashy. You’ll also be ready for the live orchestra experience, practicing with musicians so you’re prepared for the real thing.

### Staying True to the Art

Discipline matters. My Guru once exclaimed, ‘Enna innaikke vanduttiya?’ (What, you’ve come today itself?), when I showed up for class right after my own Arangetram. That kind of dedication runs deep in my teaching, but I know each student’s journey is different. The most important thing is not giving up on dance.

### My story

Never thought I'd be a dance teacher, honestly. MBA in finance, banking dreams, then life threw me into teaching Bharatanatyam in America. My mom put me in dance when I was six—no drama, just routine. Learned from legends like Adyar K. Lakshman sir, every day, no breaks. Did my Arangetram at 12, showed up to class next morning, got a 'Enna innaikke vanduttiya?' from my guru (you came today itself?!). Skipped MBA finals to perform at Sathya Sai Baba’s birthday—no regrets. Dance just became home.

### My work
