## About Our Prayag Community: School Events & Milestones

These events are more than just photo opportunities; they are vital touchpoints for child development. Whether we are helping a toddler navigate separation anxiety during those first days or celebrating peer-to-peer support on Sports Day, these moments allow us to observe, connect, and nurture your child's growing confidence in a real-world setting.

At Prayag Montessori, we believe school is a living community. Events like our annual Sports Day, festival celebrations, and the graduation ceremony aren't just calendar dates; they are intentional exercises in social development and independence.

By inviting parents into our space for orientations and open houses, we create a bridge between home and school life, which is essential for a child's sense of security. Our mixed-age grouping (3 to 6 years) naturally shines during these times, as older children take on leadership roles, helping younger ones feel comfortable and included.

### Why Community Events Matter

- **Building Independence:** From the first day of school, we focus on helping children manage transitions. When a child participates in a group activity or performs a task on Sports Day, they aren't just competing; they are learning to regulate their emotions and build resilience.
- **Inclusive Celebration:** We celebrate festivals and milestones to teach grace, courtesy, and respect for diversity. These experiences reinforce the 'whole child' approach we have championed for over two decades.
- **Parent-Guide Partnership:** We view you as an essential part of the journey. Our events provide a window into the prepared environment of our JP Nagar, Jayanagar, and Padmanabhanagar branches, allowing you to see how your child interacts with peers and materials.

Whether it is the 'Wings to our Dreams' photo prop on day one or the podium finish on Sports Day, every milestone is a reflection of the nurturing culture we have built together as a community.

## About Prayag Montessori

We aren't just teachers; we are guides walking alongside your child as they discover the world. At Prayag, we treat every milestone—big or small—as a celebration of your child's growing independence.
