## About Yoga Retreats

### Why I Host Yoga Retreats

Sometimes, life gets noisy and you just need that one real break. I hold these retreats as a way to help people step out of the daily rush and actually listen to themselves, not just collect more info or tick off a holiday. This isn’t about running away, but finding your own pace again.

### What Happens Here

Every retreat is a mix of movement, quiet, and the outdoors. Here’s what you’ll actually do:
- Daily asana (like Hatha or Yin) and pranayama to wake up the body
- Guided meditation, sound healing, and simple talks about yoga philosophy
- Walking in tea estates or up mountain paths, soaking up the prana of wild places
- Local, home-style food (honestly, sometimes simple but always fresh)

### Retreat Vibes & Locations

I keep it real - not every day feels like a postcard, but the places lift you up.
- Himalayan yoga retreat: 8 days in the hills, practicing by the Ganga, living in villages like Harsil and Rishikesh
- Shorter 5-day breaks in tea estates, mostly Nilgiris, where you wake to birds and mist

### Who Shows Up

All sorts join - beginners figuring out their first mindful hiking retreat, and regulars deepening their sadhana. We end up as a small, supportive gang, swapping stories, not just poses.

If you crave space to breathe or you’re curious about yoga and meditation in nature, you’ll fit right in here.

### My story

Hey, we’re Pratyaksha Yoga. Yashwanth started off teaching on the mat, hours every day, but soon realized yoga wasn’t just about guiding others—it was changing him too. That spark led us here: helping folks not just learn, but teach, so the light spreads. We don’t hand out answers. We help you see your own path, just like our Gurus did for us. That’s what matters—finding your own light.

### My work

- **What we offer**: Hatha Yoga Teacher Training (Level 1 & 2), Pranayama Sadhana, workshops, and online yoga classes.
- **Yoga beyond poses**: We focus on conscious yoga practice, not just asanas. It's about creativity and inner awareness.
- **Start when you’re ready**: We guide with questions before any course. Growth needs the right timing, not rushing.
- **Guidance over perfection**: Corrections aren’t about perfect poses—they’re about helping your body learn alignment and breath.
- **Community matters**: We grow together, not alone. Every step counts, and we’re here for the journey.
