Our hop-on, hop-off structure means you can drop in for a session when it suits your routine, using professional-grade graphite and charcoal supplies provided at our Panchsheel Park studio so you do not need to carry anything but your curiosity. Mastering the fundamentals of drawing is a journey of observation. Whether you are a student looking to build a strong portfolio or an adult returning to art after years away, our sketching classes focus on the mechanics of seeing: perspective, light, shadow, and anatomy. ### Why Our Approach Works We believe in learning by doing, not just copying. In our studio, we work with graphite pencils (HB-8B), charcoal sticks, and blending stumps to help you understand texture and depth. For younger artists aged 6 and up, we often introduce creative exercises like Zentangles to teach focus, precision, and pen control. ### Flexible Learning for Every Schedule We know life in Delhi is busy. That is why our sketching program is designed for flexibility. You can choose to drop in for a single session or work through a series of classes to refine specific skills like facial features or still life drawing. ### What You Will Learn - **Perspective Drawing:** How to create 3D spaces on a 2D surface. - **Human Anatomy:** Understanding proportions and figure sketching. - **Medium Mastery:** Gaining confidence with charcoal, graphite, and glass marking pencils. - **Direct Mentorship:** Every session includes critique from senior instructors focusing on your hand-eye coordination. All necessary materials are included, so you can walk in, pick up a pencil, and start creating immediately. ## About Prath We started Prath in 1994 to make art a real part of daily life, not just a weekend hobby. Today, our studio in Panchsheel Park is a buzzing space where we guide students from 6-year-olds to adults through the honest, messy, and rewarding process of learning to draw.
