It’s about the hour spent focusing, the messy glitter that stays on their fingers, and the genuine pride in their eyes when they show you what they have made. We provide all non-toxic materials and guided instructions, so you can simply enjoy the result of their creative effort. ### Festive Creativity at Prath Our festive workshops are more than just a seasonal activity. They are carefully designed sessions where we use cultural themes to teach new techniques and artistic perspectives. Whether it is learning the delicate patterns of Pichwai art for Janmashtami or understanding structural balance while making 3D paper candles for Christmas, these projects are chosen to challenge and engage young minds. ### Why Festive Art Matters * **Cultural Connection:** We use festivals as a gateway to explore history and art styles, making learning feel like a celebration rather than a school lesson. * **Motor Skill Development:** Projects like pop-up floral cards or delicate wreaths for Mother's Day require precise pincer movements, helping toddlers and young kids refine their coordination. * **Safe Exploration:** We provide high-quality, non-toxic materials in a supervised environment, allowing kids to get as messy and creative as they want without you having to clean up the studio. ### What to Expect Classes are structured into small batches of 5 to 8 children to ensure every student gets individual attention. For our younger toddlers (2.5 to 6 years), the focus is on sensory exploration and joy. For older students (6 to 15 years), we introduce more complex techniques like layering, 3D sculpture, and detailed composition. We believe that art is a journey that brings our community closer, and we love seeing families return year after year for these seasonal milestones. ## About Prath I’m proud to have built a space where festivals mean more than just a holiday. Over these 30 years at Prath, I’ve watched generations of students celebrate cultures and seasons through art, creating memories that stick around long after the glitter fades.
