This is often an adolescent fear period rather than a permanent behavioral issue. Instead of correcting them, I teach you how to manage their environment and provide the steady reassurance they need to regain confidence. My sessions focus on these development leaps, helping you distinguish between typical puppy growing pains and behaviors that need a structured modification plan. Raising a puppy or adolescent dog in a city like Delhi or Gurgaon brings unique challenges. The constant noise, traffic, and bustle can overwhelm a young dog. My work is not about forcing your dog into obedience, but about helping them navigate this environment with you as their anchor. ### Moving Beyond Basic Commands While sit and stay are useful, they are not enough for a well-adjusted adult dog. My programs focus on real-life skills: managing over-excitement, teaching bite inhibition, and mastering loose-leash walking. We address the 'why' behind the behavior—whether it is boredom, pain, or a need for agency—so we can provide the right solution. ### The Adolescent Challenge It is common to feel like your once-obedient puppy has suddenly forgotten everything. This is the adolescent phase, and it is a critical time to be patient. We avoid harsh corrections, leash jerks, or intimidation tactics, as these only break the bond you have worked so hard to create. Instead, we use positive reinforcement to build a partnership based on clear communication. ### Setting Up For Success Whether we are working on potty training schedules that actually stick, or desensitizing your puppy to city sounds and new people, my goal is to give you the tools to handle the day-to-day. We look at your home setup, your walk routine, and your daily interactions to reduce stress for both you and your dog.
