It is a puzzle of hundreds of everyday objects like remote controls, broken toys, and plastic forks, all carefully cleaned and mounted to make people stop and think about what we throw away. The project, which we lovingly call our lockdown baby, started in 2020. I wanted to prove that sustainability does not have to be boring. Working with a team of eight women artists, we sourced sanitized e-waste and discarded household items to build this relief mural. The structure is anchored on marine-grade plywood and finished with industrial-strength epoxy to withstand the busy airport environment. When the mural needed care after a few years, we went back to the airport to restore it. Seeing commuters stop to spot a familiar old phone or a toy fork in the artwork is the real reward. It is a reminder that even the things we consider junk have a story. If you are looking for similar large-scale installations for your home or public space, I approach every project with this same mindset. We do not just put things on a wall. We plan the sourcing, we clean and prepare every piece, and we build it to last. Whether you want a statement piece for a corporate lobby or a personal installation for a garden wall, I am happy to chat about how we can turn your discarded items into a focal point for your space. ## About Pragya Jain I'm Pragya.
