I never use chemicals, so I tell my clients to avoid water for at least 8 hours. Using a simple clove (laung) smoke trick helps the skin stay warm and allows the natural colour to develop into that signature deep red shade. People often ask me why I spend so much time on a single design. It is because I use 100% pure, natural henna, not the quick-fix chemical cones you see at some stalls. Real henna takes time to react with your skin's natural warmth, and that is why I am very specific about the application process. When I am working on your hands at your Noida home or my studio, I am calculating the exact consistency of the paste. A thinner line gives you a delicate look, while a thicker, steady application is what locks in that dark, maroon hue. I do not rush my work because the depth of the colour depends on how well the paste sits on your skin. After the application dries and flakes off, patience is key. Do not wash your hands immediately with water. I suggest using a mix of clove (laung) smoke and a little bit of balm. This keeps the skin warm and helps the colour reach that intense tone. Whether you are prepping for your Karwa Chauth or your bridal day, remember that natural henna stain is a slow process that rewards you with long-lasting, deep colour.
