## About The Craft of Construction: From Foundation to Finish

We believe in hands-on building. When we start a project, we don't just hand over a plan; we work alongside you to field-test your soil and train your local masons in traditional techniques like lime plastering and cob wall packing. It is a messy, honest process that turns your home into a collaborative story.

Building a home with earth is an adventure that starts long before the foundation is laid. We view every project as a conversation between the land and the structure. Our process begins with site feasibility, where we conduct field tests like the cigar and jar tests on site-excavated earth to determine its suitability for adobe or cob construction. This not only keeps your material costs low but also turns your foundation site into a potential rainwater catchment area.

### Why We Prioritize Traditional Techniques
We replace heavy Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) with load-bearing earthen walls. By using dome geometry and vaulted ceilings, we create spaces that naturally regulate temperature. Our expertise lies in the details that make a building breathe—like the application of Lohi or Araish lime plasters, which keep interiors cool even in the heat of a Karnataka summer. We actively seek out reclaimed materials, sourcing antique wooden Chettinad pillars and Mangalore tiles to ensure your home has a history as rich as its future.

### The Owner-Builder Model
We do not just build for you; we build with you. Through our owner-builder training, we visit your site to teach local labor the art of mud molding and mortar preparation. Whether it is the fermentation of lime with jaggery or the careful leveling of a red oxide floor, we ensure your team understands the 'why' behind every step. This model empowers you to take ownership of your home, ensuring the final structure is a reflection of your values. It is about simple joys, big hearts, and creating a space that feels like a constant, open-sky, and sun-drenched experience.
