These events are a wonderful opportunity for aspiring homeowners, architects, and students to engage with sustainable architecture in a real-world setting.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/fcff03b1-6b16-499e-94b7-a77b339c4302) ## About Join Our Community It is one thing to see a photo, but you only truly understand our courtyard houses, or 'totti mane', when you stand in the center and feel the natural cross-breeze. Our open house events let you walk through these spaces, touch the cooling Araish plaster, and see how we integrate reclaimed materials into a modern, sustainable structure. ### Why We Open Our Doors We believe that building a home is a shared journey. When we design a house, it is not just about the blueprints or the 3D renderings; it is about creating a space that breathes, ages gracefully, and connects you back to nature. We host these open house events because we want you to feel the difference for yourself. ### What You Can Expect * **Material Exploration:** See how we use mud adobe, cob, and lime plaster in an urban setting. * **The Owner-Builder Model:** Learn how we support you in building your own home, from sourcing local materials to training local masons. * **Real-World Answers:** These events are the perfect place to ask about the practicalities, including maintenance, costs, and the longevity of natural materials. We have hosted events from Harlur to Mysuru, and we love meeting people who are as curious about sustainable living as we are. Join our community to stay updated on our next project site visit or architectural workshop. We are excited to walk this path with you. ## About Praangana We are Praangana, a group of architects who believe houses should evolve from nature rather than being forcefully built. We open our doors to share our process because we want you to experience the coolness of lime and the soul of mud walls for yourself.
