A sustainable ratio is typically one staff member for six to eight dogs, which ensures individual attention. My approach is never about forcing a dog into a setup you think looks good; it is about mandatory trial stays to see where your dog actually feels safe. I started Play Bark and Snore Abode in 2015 in Whitefield to create a space where dogs can actually be dogs. My work in this cluster reflects my core belief that we often project our own preferences onto our pets. If your dog is an extroverted social butterfly, an open-hosting system with plenty of play is great. If you have a senior, a shy rescue, or a dog with physical limitations, a kennel system might offer the peace and stability they need. My coaching and boarding services focus on three pillars: * **Understanding Body Language:** I teach you to read what your dog is saying, distinguishing play from true aggression. This is the difference between constant anxiety and a stable home life. * **Consistency and Boundaries:** Whether we are working on recall, impulse control, or basic obedience, success comes from simple, clear communication and consistent routines. We do not use punishment; we build trust. * **Practical Vetting:** When choosing care for your pet, do not rely on reviews alone. Visit the facility, look at the documentation, and ask the hard questions about their protocols and emergency preparedness. I have spent years working with diverse cases, from rescues with bite histories like my own Rottweiler, Simba, to senior dogs like Scooter, who taught me that even the most 'broken' dogs can heal with patience. I do not do generic advice.
