Most customers are pleasantly surprised that chemical-free, homemade pickles can arrive across India in perfect condition and taste exactly like they were made in a local kitchen just a few hours ago. It is the result of using sturdy, leak-proof packaging and the traditional slow-cooking techniques I use to keep the flavor fresh for months. I often get asked how I manage to send the same taste across India that I serve in my own home in Dewas. The secret is patience. I do not use industrial shortcuts or synthetic preservatives, so the pickles have to be prepared with care to ensure they survive the journey. When a customer tells me that the pickle tastes just like what their dadi or nani used to make, I know the extra time spent hand-pounding the masalas was worth it. Feedback has been the biggest teacher for me. Early on, I learned that while the taste was right, the packaging had to be stronger to prevent any leakage during transit. That is why I personally oversee the sealing process for every single jar.
