## About Open Mic & Performance Nights

Our performance area features a floor-level stage with a green curtain backdrop, specifically designed to minimize the distance between you and your audience. Because we cap our theater-style seating at 30-50 people, it maintains a hushed, acoustic-friendly atmosphere that is ideal for storytelling, stand-up comedy, or unplugged musical sets where every word carries weight.

Finding a venue in Bangalore that feels more like a living room than a commercial hall is rare. We built this space in Basavanagudi to serve as that 'in-between' spot—large enough for a proper audience, but small enough that you can see the expressions on every face.

### The Setup
We keep the tech simple and effective. You get a 3-hour block that includes a portable PA system with a wired microphone and stand, plus fixed warm-tone track lighting that keeps the focus strictly on the performer. The acoustics are great for vocalists, poets, and acoustic guitarists, though please note that our space isn’t set up for full drum kits or high-volume electric bands.

### Why It Works for Community Events
We have hosted everything from 'Awaken Words' poetry sessions to 'The Bean Grill' open mics. Our setup is flexible; you can arrange the chairs for a theater-style performance or keep it loose for a workshop-style meetup. We provide the stage and the sound, you bring the talent and the energy. Whether you are a first-time storyteller looking for a supportive room or a seasoned comic trying out new material, our space is here to amplify your art without the pressure of a massive, cold auditorium.

## About Pops Of Pastel Studio

We’ve designed our space to be the kind of home-base we always wished we had for the local art scene. It’s not about grand stages or high-production gear; it’s about that quiet magic that happens when a community gathers to share stories, music, and laughter in a space that feels like a home.
