Whether I am embedding a client's childhood candy collection into a chair or pouring a deep resin river for a dining table, I focus on the 'messy middle'—the sanding, the layering, and the curing—to ensure the final result is not just beautiful, but built to last with scratch-resistant, non-yellowing epoxy. When I started, I just wanted to make things look good. I did not realize how much these pieces would end up holding—memories, milestones, and daily life. This collection brings together my diverse resin work, from large-scale interior installations to small, sentimental keepsakes. My approach is deeply personal. For floral preservation, I do not just glue flowers down; I use a professional dehydration process with silica sand over 7–14 days to keep their color and form before the resin pour. For furniture like my river tables, I use seasoned live-edge wood (Acacia, Teak, or Walnut) combined with TPU-coated epoxy to ensure heat resistance up to 200°C. You are not buying standard decor; you are buying a functional piece of art that is meant to be lived with. Here is how we usually get started: * **The initial chat:** We always begin with a sketch or a deep dive into your vision. * **What can be embedded?** Almost anything. From wedding *varmalas* and baby keepsakes to whiskey bottles for bar counters. * **Durability:** I use structural-grade epoxy and diamond-polished finishes. I add protective films on high-use surfaces so they do not scratch easily. Whether you are looking for a geode wall art piece for your living room or a meaningful gift that freezes a moment in time, my studio is ready to experiment. Let's create something real. ## About Poonam Shah Art Studio I'm Poonam, a mom who balances motherhood with a serious passion for resin art.
