## About Hands-On Practical Training

You won't find mannequins here. Every session is designed to make you job-ready by practicing on real people under my direct supervision. This ensures you learn the 'why' behind every brushstroke and technique, giving you the confidence to handle actual clients from day one.

### Theory is just the start

Many students learn the theory but freeze when they have a real client in the chair. That is why I started Pooja Salon & Academy. My approach is simple: theory is for understanding, but practice is for expertise. Whether you are learning to correct pigmentation for bridal makeup or mastering the pressure points for a head massage, you need to feel the work on real skin and hair.

### What real-world practice looks like here

At our DLF Phase 3 facility, we focus on scenarios you will actually face in a professional salon. We cover:

* **Skin Analysis & Facials:** You will learn to diagnose skin types and select products based on actual needs, not just generic routines.
* **Makeup Artistry:** From color wheel theory to foundation matching, you practice these on diverse skin tones. We don't skip the prep work, as that is where 90% of a smooth finish comes from.
* **Hair Chemical Treatments:** You will work on blow-drying, coloring, and chemical applications, learning to section hair correctly to avoid unevenness or frizz.

### Why it matters for your career

A certificate on your wall is not enough to get hired in a top salon. Employers look for someone who understands hygiene, client comfort, and technical precision. By the time you finish our 30 or 60-day courses, you will have a portfolio of work done on live models. You will have corrected your mistakes under my guidance, so you don't make them when it counts.
