We use interactive Zoom sessions where I can actually see your posture, correct your angles, and adjust your footwork in real-time. Even if you are practicing in a small living room, I will teach you how to adapt your spins and stances safely, so your Riyaaz does not stop just because of space constraints. Learning Kathak online requires a balance between discipline and adaptation. While the Guru-Shishya tradition relies on physical presence, we have structured these online Kathak classes to maintain that rigor through digital interaction. ### Why This Works We focus heavily on Anga Shuddhi (upper body posture) and rhythmic clarity. Because I can spotlight individual students during our Zoom sessions, you get the same verbal corrections on gaze and rhythm that you would receive in my Mumbai studio. We break down the complex mechanics of Chakkars (spins) so you can execute them safely in your home environment without the luxury of professional dance flooring. ### What We Cover - **Technique (Nritta):** We delve into footwork patterns and spins, adapting them to your available space. - **Abhinay:** Understanding how to use facial expressions and storytelling, even through a screen. - **Riyaaz:** Access to collective practice sessions where we build stamina and rhythmic precision together. ### Who Should Join Whether you are a complete beginner who has never worn ghungroos or an intermediate dancer looking for technical refinement, there is a place for you. We keep batch sizes manageable to ensure everyone gets feedback. If you are aiming for certification, I also guide students through the necessary curriculum for formal exams. Kathak is a lifelong practice, and where you are physically does not dictate how much you can learn. ## About Pooja Pant I am Pooja Pant. After years of training under my Guru, Smt Rajashree Shirke, I am now passing that learning on to students everywhere. Whether you are in Dubai, the US, or anywhere else, my goal is to ensure you get the same rigorous, honest training I did, right in your own living room.
