We don't just teach 'Sit' or 'Stay' in a quiet room; we bring in our expert decoy, Raju bhaiya, for protection training to build prey drive and bite mechanics in controlled, safe settings. This ensures your dog learns to distinguish between a training scenario and actual life, giving you a companion that listens, stays calm, and knows exactly when to act. ### Our Approach to Training We believe that a well-behaved dog is a happy dog, but 'behavior' isn't just about cute tricks. It is about structure. Whether we are working on basic obedience in a busy South Delhi park or training a Belgian Malinois for protection, our philosophy remains the same: firmness without harshness. We use short, clear commands like 'Ruk!' (Stay), 'Platz' (Down), and 'Pakad!' (Catch) to ensure your dog understands the boundary. ### Obedience & Real-World Manners Training should translate to your daily life. Our obedience sessions cover: - **Heeling & Recall:** Ensuring your dog walks calmly by your side and returns the moment they are called. - **Desensitization:** We take training into the real world—public parks and markets—to get your dog comfortable with traffic, crowds, and new people. This is crucial for avoiding reactivity. - **Impulse Control:** Teaching 'Leave it' or 'No' so your dog stops scavenging or lunging at distractions. ### Protection & Advanced Work For families needing security or enthusiasts involved in dog sports, we provide professional protection training. This involves: - **Drive Building:** Using tugs and flirt poles to build engagement. - **Bite Mechanics:** Working with a professional decoy in a bite suit to ensure the dog grips properly and releases instantly on the 'Out' or 'Loose' command. - **The On/Off Switch:** The most critical part of our protection training is teaching the dog to engage on command and instantly settle down when told. We want a dog that is ready to work but remains a calm family pet at home. ### Rescue & Rehabilitation This work is not just a job for us; it is a mission. We dedicate significant time to rehabilitating dogs from traumatic backgrounds. Like our work with Naina, we believe that understanding the fear behind aggression is the first step toward healing. If you have a rescue dog struggling with trust, we have the patience and experience to help them find their confidence again. ## About Pooch Walkers We are Pooch Walkers. We don't just train dogs for a paycheck; we do this because we believe every animal deserves respect and a fair chance to learn. Whether you have a high-energy Malinois needing a job or a rescue dog that needs to learn how to trust again, we provide the leadership they are looking for.
